Ministers (or evangelists) have the responsibility to “preach the word” (II Tim. 4:2). The first ministers were the apostles and were commissioned to “go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15). A congregation may have one minister, or it may have several.

Let me introduce myself: I have been preaching for the congregation in Aberdeen, MD for the past 27 years. I began preaching in the mid-1950s and with my wife and children. During this time we were domestic missionaries to the Northeast.
An alumnus of David Lipscomb University Bible Program, I have also been a Marriage and Family Counselor since the early 1960s having received my training from Boston University, Chaplaincy program – Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY and Westminister Theological Seminary.
