Ministers (or evangelists) have the responsibility to “preach the word” (II Tim. 4:2). The first ministers were the apostles and were commissioned to “go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15). A congregation may have one minister, or it may have several.

I grew up in Northeast Florida. I have a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies (SEIBS) in Karns, Tennessee (2017). I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and a minor in vocational ministry from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas (2008). I hold a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University in Troy, Alabama (2020). I hold a Master of Ministry in Ministerial Counseling from Heritage Christian University, Florence, Alabama (2023). I’m married to Carrie Brown, formally, (Byrd) of Bald Knob, Arkansas. We have a son named Caleb. My goal is to preach the gospel of God honestly and to encourage, and help lead people to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
